Envigado Vest by Itch to Stitch

I never imagined that I would need a vest until I sewed the Envigado vest from the Itch to Stitch brand. It’s the kind of clothes you never know when you put them on, some days is too hot, some others is too cold and so that you miss the sleeves.

Recently this pattern fell into my hands and I thought, it’s BEAUTIFUL and I need it! Not only because of the details that this pattern have, but also because of how versatile it can be since it can be sewn with a wide variety of fabrics, from waterproof fabric to twill fabric.

Now that I’ve been wearing for weeks I can tell you that this pdf pattern is perfect for all your spring, fall and winter outfits! It has flattering princess seams with shaping through the chest, waist and hips to ensure an attractive fit. It also has an optional hoodie.

I was wearing my new Uvita top in this pics. I wrote a post last week about it.

Although the pattern is tagged with an Intermediate+ difficulty level, it is not so difficult. I’m not going to cheat you, it’s not like sewing a knit shirt with the serger, far from it! But it is not difficult. For me it was the first time sewing an open zipper, first time sewing a princess seam, first flap pockets, first snaps, first waistband and drawstring hood … It is long to sew because it has many steps, but following Kennis instructions (which are wonderful), you will get it like I did (or eve better). If you want a challenge, like me, sew it! You will not regret!

No te arrepentirás!

The Envigado Vest will be on sale ($9.60 instead of $12.00) during this week so go and grab your copy. You can see what other testers have sewn here. You will not regret it!

Si te apetece coserlo, no dudes.
